The Under 8's Tag Team travelled to Pembroke Dock RFC on Good Friday to participate in the District H Under 8's TAG Rugby Tournament. Glorious weather was matched by glorious rugby throughout the day. Aberaeron were placed in Group 2 and played against Pembroke Dock Quins with the result being 5-2 to Aberaeron; the next game was against Cardigan, with the result being 5-0 to Aberaeron; then on to play Tenby 'B' with the result being 5-1 in favour of Aberaeron; then against Llangwm and Aberaeron were victorious 7-2. They were then through to the Quarter Finals as the winners of Group 2 where they met Crymych 'B'. This was a great game of rugby to watch as both sides were eager to run and pass the ball. Aberaeron triumphed and won by 5-2. This result took them to the Semi Finals, where they met Crymych 'A'. Crymych scored the first try, but our team played some excellent rugby and came back to win the game by 4-1.

In total, Aberaeron scored a total of 31 tries and only conceeded 8 tries throughout the day.

An excellent, enjoyable day was had by all - the Team, Coaches and Supporters.

Aberaeron will now play Tenby 'A' in the Finals Day on Sunday, 4th May, 2008 at Narberth RFC. Please come along and support the Under 8's Team.
