On a damp evening at Parc Drefach, it was first blood for the Seagulls before the Boxing Day encounter when the visitors will undoubtedly be eager for revenge. A keenly contested game was evenly balanced until a real flash of enterprise from the home backs resulted in wing Trystan Jones crossing under the posts, the move having started on their own line with Aled Davies cutting through the first defence before Jones beat the cover defence. Although Lampeter competed well, the lead was extended when hooker Mike Jones benefited from a rolling maul for his first try of the season. A good runout for all concerned.
